Reserves

Reserves are set up for classes whose students will be working on similar research at the same time.  Books are held behind the counter at the circulation desk.

To place an item on your class reserve:

  1. Bring the book(s) to the circulation desk on the main floor and let us know what class you're in.
  2. Remember to write down the call number of the book, so we can find it for you the next time you come to the library.

To borrow an item on reserve:

  1. Reserve books should be checked out even if being used during class time.
  2. You may check out books for two hours or overnight within two hours of closing.
  3. Books checked out overnight must be returned within two hours of opening.
  4. Late fines are 50 cents per hour.
