Resources and Tools
There are many ways to use a library and many ways to do research. Certain tools and methods help in a variety of situations and will be reusable once you learn how to make the most of them. At any point along the way, remember we love answering questions!
The catalog is the listing for every book, DVD, journal, and rare book in the library’s holdings. It can also search many of our databases for journal articles too. Advanced search lets you be more specific and get precise results.
Not in the Catalog? ILL and Other Requests
Inter-Library Loan (ILL):
Interlibrary Loan (ILL): we obtain the materials from another library for you to use temporarily. Excellent for journal articles (we usually get a scanned copy quickly), ILL is also great for unusual items (we might not want to add it to the collection) or things that are out of print. Complete this form to begin.
Other Requests:
We make it a priority to get the things that you, our PEA community, want and add them to the collection.

This is a more comprehensive list of journal and magazine titles than in the catalog. This tool can get you straight to our journal holdings, to see if we have the print or online issues and time period you need.
